Alghero (SS), Oct.8, 2020. #abbaidasurallyadomo, #wrc, #jumpinginthedust, #rallyitaly are hashtags and slogans always in the foreground at the Rally Italia Sardegna.

The Rally Italia Sardegna, 6th round of the 2020 World Rally Championship, started with the shakedown that took place today and already offered emotions and twists, such as the best time in ex aequo for the leader of the WRC Elfyn Evans on Toyota Yaris WRC and Ott Tanak on Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC, both only a few tenths faster than Sebastien Ogier, also on Toyota. Italians stood out in WRC3 with Umberto Scandola Verona on Hyundai NG i20 and in FIA Junior WRC with Marco Pollara on Ford Fiesta.

As scheduled, tomorrow the event gets underway with the first leg. First run out from the service park in Alghero before dawn and the first lap on the new “Tempio Pausania” (12.08 km) at 7:50h and on the “Erula-Tula” (21.78 km) at 8:44h. Second round at 10:40h and 11:34h just before the return to the head quarter for the first service of the day at 14:07h. In the afternoon two other special stages with the first WRC car starting at 16:14h on the “Sedini-Castelsardo” (14:72 km) and at 16:59h for the “Tergu-Osilo” (12.81 km). Return in the late afternoon and possibility of sevice at 18:27h before the night parc fermé.

Emotions to be experienced through the media. For WRC + fans and subscribers it will be possible to follow live all the 16 special stages of the Sardinian event.
