Car #18 T. Katsuta – D. Barritt (Toyota Yaris WRC): [happy to be at the end]”Yeah. Without brakes it is not nice. We tried to fix them before the stage,  they were not perfect but OK. At the end of the stage I lost the brakes again but they [mechanics] will fix it for tomorrow so it is fine”

Car #8 O. Tänak – M. Järveoja (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): [hard tyres are the right choice?] “Yeah, I am not sure I have to share that with you.”

Car #7 P.L. Loubet – V. Landais (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): “Wrong tyre choice for sure, it was a disaster”  [tyres very worn]

Car #33 E. Evans – S. Martin (Toyota Yaris WRC): [great time]”Yeah. I tried to be really smooth and clean. I am not sure how I’d be like compared to the others. I had a bad time in the other, probably I was a bit too aggressive so I tried to clean it up in here”.

Car #17 S. Ogier – J. Ingrassia (Toyota Yaris WRC): [Equal pace to Thierry. How important is to try and beat him before tomorrow] “It is important to beat him after tomorrow”.

Car #11 T. Neuville – N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): “I tried very hard, looks like they have a bit more speed than us. Maybe the tyres made the difference. I lost maybe 1.5-2s on the bridge when I was a little bit too late on the brakes. When you push to the maximum that happens” [a little wide before a bridge, tyres worn a lot]

Car #3 T. Suninen – J. Lehtinen (Ford Fiesta WRC): “I really tried my best and we have different tyre choices. I do not know if it makes any difference. In the last we lost some seconds to Elfyn”.

Car #6 D. Sordo – C. Del Barrio (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): [a little bit of time lost]“I think my tyres are completely destroyed. I was trying to manage a little bit at the end. Some time before the end I felt I was understeering a bit too much so I had to take it a little bit careful”.
