Car #33 E. Evans – S. Martin (Toyota Yaris WRC): When we did our recce there was a lot more water, today much looser than expected and much more slippery and it was not even better on the second passage.Tommow the road position is going to be better than today so we are looking to fight.

Car #17 S. Ogier – J. Ingrassia (Toyota Yaris WRC): Difficult afternoon we tried what we could. The road position will be better tomorrow so better grip for sure. Monza it s good news it will be good since we had a very short season this year but lets hope the world situation will be ok because it does not look good now.

Car #8 O. Tänak – M. Järveoja (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): This afternoon it was working well still a lot of cleaning up and loose roads, but no drama.Tomorrow we will continue as this afternoon the fight is now. Monza? First lets finish this one.

Car #69 K. Rovanpera – J. Halttunen (Toyota Yaris WRC): We had a steering related issue just before stage 5 so we were driving slowly to get the car back to service. I wanted to have a better feeling with the car this afternoon and better pace.

Car #11 T. Neuville – N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): To be honest I was expecting better, we struggled with the set up but after we made some changes and it was better, I felt more confortable in the car. It was bizarre that the car stalled two times in some corners so I lost about 12 seconds today. The target for tomorrow is of course P1.

Car #3 T. Suninen – J. Lehtinen (Ford Fiesta WRC): Our mistake the choice to have two hard tyres, I had full shade at the end of the stage so we did not have a good grip. But we had a satisfying morning, It could have been much better with total sunshine. We will concentrate and do our best for tomorrow.

Car #44 G. Greensmith – E. Edmondson (Ford Fiesta WRC): Disappointing first stage, many small mistakes but ok. Last stage this afternoon was ok I am really happy also because we will have a same loop as today so I am exited.

Car #18 T. Katsuta – D. Barritt (Toyota Yaris WRC): We went off at the end of stage 4. I was out the lines so in loose gravel and could not stop and went into a ditch, it was my mistake hopfully tomorrow I will be back, this is a hard time for me, I’ll try to do my best and get back tomorow.

Car #6 D. Sordo – C. Del Barrio (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): Yes I am a happy man, and happy to come back this way with this road position. Keep things like this for tomorrow is not easy, but we need to push. The advantage on Suninen is never too much and tomorrow is a long day with very difficult tyre choice and difficult stages.

Andrea Adamo, Hyundai Team Director: We have to be realistic, the starting position was good. Dani Sordo and Carlos Del Barrio did not drive a lot in this season but they jumped in this car and were so focused, very convinced and decisive. Thank you Dani and Carlos. About Neuville nobody is perfect (about the two stalls today) and about Tanak it is with regret I see the times, if he did not have these issues… but we know the coin has always two sides.

Car #7 P.L. Loubet – V. Landais (Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC): In Castelsardo I was in fourth position but after I had some problems in the last stage. Anyway, my experience continues kilometres after kilometres.

Car #23 P. Tidemand – P. Barth (Skoda Fabia Evo): Very difficult event, I tried my best, I am leading and, honestly, I am enjoying it very much. I like this event.

Car #32 O. Solberg – A. Johnston (Skoda Fabia Evo): Much better this morning than this afternoon. Anyway, I am happy with my performance and what I did today. I am in tenth position overall and I am leading WRC3 and among the R5’s.

Car #50 R. Bell – D. Garrod (Ford Fiesta Rally4): Could be a lot better it was not the most succesful day, these boys are really good so the car can be ready for tomorrow, so it is great if this can happen.

Car #47 M. Sesks – R. Francis (Ford Fiesta Rally4): Struggling start then better closing the gap to Kristensson, we are now fourth so we can get good points.
